Waterbased offset machine vs dry offset machine
Waterbased offset machine vs dry offset machine
Hi Experts,
Based on your knowledge and experience, which one is best: dry offset or water based offset?
Currently, we having waterbased offset uv machine and having the problem regarding the certain ink for different supplier not suitable with the fountain. Each time we changing the ink requirement, we need to adjust the percentage of water and chemical. We need to run separately pass as we intended to use different in supplier on 1 printed sheet.
Sometime, CYMK and UV invisible from the same supplier quality not best for both thus we using CYMK from one supplier and UV invisible from other supplier.
We intend to convert our machine to dry offset.
Need your advise.
Thanks,
Wan
Hai, wan in my knowledge n exp water based offset is the best..
Please take some notes below
1. Is this machine comes with chiller units?
If possible , you can adjust chiller temperature by each printing unit. According to type of inks ( each inks have different viscosity)
Some inks need 18°C and some 20°C
2. Check inking and damp rollers are combi or UV.
3.use suitable fount solution for uv inks.
4.Try with siegwerk inks.
